We are looking to recruit a Feed Store Operative to join our team at our feed store, supporting the efficient intake, storage and movement of raw materials essential to our feed production operations.

Previous experience with grain handling, machinery operation or agricultural environments is preferred, however, applicants with a strong work ethic, practical skills and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

We are seeking a reliable individual who can work to a consistently high standard within a small team and maintain excellent organisational and communication skills. Full on-the-job training will be provided.

Main duties include:

• Unloading and loading deliveries, including the operation of weighbridge systems
• Recording, filing and maintaining accurate documentation (delivery notes, weighbridge tickets, stock records)
• Managing and monitoring stock levels using IT systems
• Operating machinery such as loading shovels, telehandlers and forklifts to move bulk materials
• Operating conveyor and elevator systems to intake grain and move materials around the site
• Carrying out and recording routine maintenance on grain handling equipment
• Liaising with contractors and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient feed production
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and well-organised working environment
