We are delighted to congratulate Alistair McBain on winning the Poultry Young Person Award at The Poultry Club of Scotland's annual dinner on Friday 17th September.
This award recognises Alistair’s hard work, dedication, and contribution, both to our team and the wider poultry industry.
Alistair joined Duncan Farms in 2021 as our Rearing Manager and has since progressed to Farm Operations Manager, where he overseas all rearing and free range laying farms. During this time, he has played a key role in our continued growth of free range, and has been integral to creating sustainability initiatives, such as diet reformulation, to help lower our carbon footprint.
Beyond this role, Alistair and his wife Rebecca have also invested in their own free range farm, which has been producing free range eggs for Duncan Farms since June 2025.
We are thrilled to have celebrated his well deserved success at such a fantastic event. Congratulations again, Alistair!
